If there's one area where Maxis could improve upon previous installments, however, it would have been to include online multiplayer capabilities straight from launch day instead of releasing them via downloadable content packs weeks later after initial release date passes by unnoticed amongst loud fanfare surrounding other titles released around same time frame. That said, at least they've tried - so kudos where due!
